Initially the homeowners were looking for a contractor to install a new roof. After the first walk around with an estimator the homeowner began to think about what other areas of the home were outdated and underperforming. The roof had two layers of shingles on it and was leaking. The siding was cedar and a maintenance free option was very appealing. The homeowner knew that the roof and siding were over 30 years old. At this point, they were also wondering about their 23 windows and if they were insulating and protecting the home like they were supposed to.
One of our Estimators, Anthony, met with the homeowner and talked with them about their home. After finding out all that the Marshall team could do for the home, the homeowner choose to replace more than just the roof. To begin the Marshall Exteriors roofing crew removed the old roof and installed GAF Timberline shingles in a 'hickory' color. Next came the Marshall Exteriors window crew to install 19 new VWD windows with half screens. The homeowner wanted a door that would stand out on the front of the house, so they chose a Milliken fiberglass smooth entry door in a 'red saffron' color. Additionally, a secure Milliken fiberglass entry door was installed on the side of the home in a ‘white’ color to match the new overhead garage doors. The Marshall Exteriors siding crew came in next to install Alside Charter Oak, Clapboard style siding in a beautiful 'deep moss' color. The crew also installed the new vinyl bead porch ceiling in a 'white' color. Simultaneously to some of the siding installation, the new gutters were installed in the same white color.
