This customer called to have Marshall Exteriors finish their basement. Their vision for the space was a recreational room. They told us that they weren’t sure if they wanted to finish the whole basement or just the half of it. Either way, we were happy to help their basement become a dream room!
The Marshall Exteriors Basement Crew began by removing the board & batten ceiling and walls. They then moved on to framing in the existing walls, creating a strong structure to install mold resistant drywall. The new basement walls were expertly painted using a neutral beige color. The ceiling then received it’s new 2x2 Prestige drop ceiling. Box-outs were used to hide the HVAC pipes. Six (6) LED can lights on a dimmer switch were installed. Using the LED lights will add to this energy efficient basement. Trim was added around the basement windows and the three (3) new doors. The doors were tastefully accented with nickel levers. For easy access one of the posts were wrapped in pine and an electrical outlet was added. Lastly a wall plate that included electric and cable access for the TV was installed.
