This homeowner knew it was time to replace the weathered deck when she found herself working hard to remove mold every spring. She decided she wasn’t going to do it this spring. She wanted a a durable and low maintenance product. The Marshall Exteriors carpentry crew expertly installed new Timbertech composite decking that is resistant to the elements and everyday accidents. CertainTeed Kingston railings in white were installed to enhance the deck visually as well as provided support.
This customer called because she was tired of the 2nd floor of her home being uncomfortable. She explained that it was cold in winter and hot in summer. Before the crew could add blown in cellulose insulation, they needed to cut a new access hatch in a closet and trim it out so there was no barrier to this space in the future. 10 inches of cellulose insulation was added to the existing insulation to achieve NYS building code R value of 49.
The homeowner will see reduced utility bills in the upcoming years. She decided to insulate her attic with both Rigid Foam and Blown In Cellulose. The Marshall Exteriors crew was able to access the unused attic space by creating an access hatch and building a curb to prevent spill through of the cellulose insulation if hatch is opened in the future.
Homeowner, Pat, called us because there were high winds the evening before, and the fascia was pulled away from the soffit on the garage. Adam went out the following day with the needed materials and re-attached the fascia. Pat was happy to not have to replace parts but to only have a repair.
