This new basement is clean, dry and ready for enjoyment. Homeowners Michelle & Kevin wanted a space where they could entertain friends and family. With a TBF basement, they now have a whole lot more. Space remains on the other side of the stairs for storage. It was important to still have that. Michelle wanted to make sure that the basement would stay dry and not support mold growth. She didn't expect for the TBF products to look so appealing once installed. She is thrilled to begin decorating her new basement!
It was decided by the homeowner that it was time to update this beautiful Clifton Springs home with new siding, windows and doors. The first step the Marshall Exteriors teams took to improve the energy efficiency of the home was to replace 13 windows with Integrity by Marvin fiberglass windows. An Integrity fiberglass sliding glass door was intalled to replace the old one to protect the home. The Siding crew then wrapped the home with 2400 sq. ft. of CertainTeed vinyl siding in Flagstone color. White seamless gutters finished the project to adequately direct the water flow away from the home and its foundation.
The homeowners were ready to update their 1987 home with new vinyl siding. New Marvin Integrity windows replaced the old crank out windows. When deciding to replace their deck, these homeowners chose Marshall Exteriors and found that a sunroom as well as a deck would give them the outdoor living space they always wanted.
To begin the project Team Marshall removed the existing deck and all debris. The space was cleared and complying with NYS building code, the crew began digging 42" down to install the new sturdy posts placed on structural concrete block The new deck was built with a landing and new stairs to the backyard. Facia board made by Timbertech surrounded the exterior face of the deck giving it protection and a nicely polished look. Under the deck insulation was installed and completed with a vinyl soffit ceiling.
The Betterliving sunroom structure was built and began to go up. The homeowners decided to have insulated glass knee walls, an in-swing door, and argon gas insulated low-e glass sliding windows. Finishing touches included tongue and groove on the back wall, Pergo flooring, an electrical package including a ceiling fan and six (6) electrical outlets.
A wind storm tore many shingles off the roof of this Clifton Springs home. The Project Estimator, Adam, worked with the homeowner's insurance company to get the damages covered. The roofing crew replaced 2228 sq. ft. of shingles with new GAF Timberline shingles in 'charcoal' color. A GAF Golden Pledge warranty further protects the hoomeowners's investment.
